Hellsing, Iscariot, and Millennium! Oh, my!
Plus the Drifters and anything else Hirano.
Production Update
18th-Jun-2008 01:45 pm
The powers that be have informed me that the Hellsing vol.4 dub will be shown at AX this year. Now I crawl back to the angry gnome cave to make this a reality. I will be at the Edison bar downtown for the duration.
God save the queen

What company will distribute the volume 4 release?
18th-Jun-2008 09:17 pm (UTC)
Is this a rumor, or the truth?
That would so make my AX, if they show it! ^_^

That's the best news I've heard about Hellsing in quite some time. Thanks for letting us know. Just one more reason to look forward to AX.

Amazing news! This means that is indeed in English now, but what of a dvd release? I doubt I'll be able to afford a trip to AX this year... *sobs*

Thank you sir, for the update sir! *salutes*

Yaaaaay! Ah fuck, I wish I was going to AX this year. Bah. Anyway, that's fantabulous news.

thanks, too bad we dun have a distributor yet XP
19th-Jun-2008 02:00 am (UTC)
I'd rather go to the Edison club if given a choice between the two....

English! Pfft! I want to hear the Major's speech in german.

hmmm, I wonder if he'd sound like Addie?

Disclaimer : I'm not Nazi!

It should be shown at AX AND Otakon. For the west coast and east coast fans =[

And those wondering about who the distributer is, there technically isnt one. Talesin will be doing it independently without a name distributer [i.e. VIZ or FUNimation]. -words directly from Greg Ayers mouth

I still need to watch Vol 1!! and buy vol 3... I wonder if they will have it for sale... hehe.

I'm so behind... I want to hear Pip. and get Hiroaki Hirata's (did I get the name right? I've forgotten) autograph to go with my Johnny Depp one. LOL
19th-Jun-2008 06:30 am (UTC)
Hell yes, that is topping my list of things to do at AX this year for sure. I hope Rip's VA is good!
19th-Jun-2008 02:05 pm (UTC)
AAAAH that's fantastic!!! :D

Thank you for the update! Good luck! ♥

It makes me happy that the English dub of OVA VI is complete or nearly complete, but it makes me sad that I won't be able to see it for quite some time. I can't go to AX, and I'm not expecting distribution of the DVD to be picked up any time soon. I'm hoping to be surprised, but I'm not counting on it. Thanks anyway, Taliesin. You're my god.

Good thing the powers that be have never lied to us before.
19th-Jun-2008 06:07 pm (UTC)
English dub? This independently owned establishment best have the original voices am I right? Well, they most likely will though am I right? But yes I am so happy to be hearing this news! All we need now is for a company to just distribute the dvd like a good little company, lol.

I don't think this has been mentioned yet; apologies if it has:

I noticed yesterday that Amazon.co.uk have listings for Hellsing Ultimate 1 & 2 (release date: 4 Aug 2008) and Hellsing Ultimate 3 & 4 (release date: 20 Oct 2008).

They're listed as 'Studio: Manga Entertainment'. They'll be Region 2.

I suppose this may be a good thing? Honestly, as popular as Hellsing is to withhold the next OVA is marketing suicide.
